Through one on one coffee dates, attending community events, and keeping in tune with what you--our constituents--want to create, we build and curate unique Jewish experiences in different geographic regions of L.A.

Zack Lodmer is the Director of NuRoots Community Engagement Fellowship. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Pepperdine University School of Law, Zack is an active musician, yogi, writer, and father to his two children. Before joining NuRoots, Zack was an attorney with the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office and in private practice. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring the beach, farmer's markets, and community events with his family.
Elina is that Jewish girl from Berlin that everyone in LA seems to know. You probably already have at least one Facebook friend in common. From Venice beach to Silver Lake, she has worked in music, events, tech start ups, and founded her own successful start-up, Challah Hub. When she isn't thinking up unique and tasty challah recipe ideas, she's fostering a vital community of relevant, culturally-inclined eastsiders with NuRoots and loves discovering the next hottest thing to do in Los Angeles.
Honeymoon Israel Director of Community Engagement, LA
Jenn Green has spent the last eight years working in advocacy, social work, community-building, and public diplomacy. Her passions have taken her from the townships of South Africa to the villas of Argentina, with plenty of adventures (like swimming with whale sharks and climbing the Great Wall of China!) and misadventures (like surviving a bout of malaria!) in between. When she's not in Venice, she's exploring all of the city's other neighborhoods for her travel blog, My Best LA Day.
Venice + Intergenerational
Born and raised in West LA, Bri is a proud third-generation Angeleno. Having lived in New York and The Bay Area, with stints abroad in Paris and Barcelona, she is happy to call Los Angeles home base. Trained as a social worker, Bri’s career has taken her to hospitals, schools, grassroots non-profits, and even a start-up in Silicon Valley. She lives to bring people together to better the community. If tacos, dogs, grandparents, 90s rap, and dancing are involved you’re likely to find her there.
David is an avid cyclist, yogi, LA sports fanatic, and frequent concert go-er. For the past seven years, he has worked in the area of sports sponsorships for various automotive manufacturers, planning and executing events all over the world from Hawaii to Dubai. David brings his expertise in bringing people together along with his deep passion and commitment to fostering community in West Hollywood to the NuRoots team.
Erika Brooks Adickman
After nearly a decade of working in digital, Erika felt it was time to help build communities offline thus she's incredibly excited to join the NuRoots team and connect with people face-to-face, rather than behind a screen. Erika is co-host of the podcast 2 Jews Talking. Occasionally you can find her at Pan Pacific Park dancing halftime at the women's basketball games as a member of the LA City Municipal Dance Squad. Her friends consider her a "pop culture savant". She has the ability to name that tune in 4 notes. And yes, her "Seltzer" nameplate necklace is because she really, really, really loves seltzer.
