DECEMBER 4-12, 2026 ACROSS LOS ANGELES

Los Angeles knows how to make light. A lot of light.
Ancient light. Neon city. Eight nights.

Some things shine brighter when we’re together.

NuRoots’ citywide Hanukkah festival Infinite Light returns December 4–12,
bringing Jewish young adults together across Los Angeles for Hanukkah gatherings, new connections, and plenty of reasons to light up the night.

SOLD OUT

Friday, December 4
7:30 PM – 10:30 PM

What if the darkest time of year was the brightest night in L.A.? This December, the first candle of Hanukkah and the arrival of Shabbat fall on the same Friday night. First Night: Shabbanukkah is an invitation to gather at the intersection of two kinds of light for a night of abundance, resilience, and the kind of community that makes a big city feel like a small world.

So come for the food, the music, and the glow. Come to celebrate, to connect, or simply to spend a Friday night somewhere that feels a little more like home. Come hungry. Come glowing. Bring a friend. There is a seat for you here.

First Night: Shabbanukkah

Kindle in the Kitchen

Monday, December 7
6:30 PM – 9:30 PM

We have so much light in our life, what if we celebrate Hanukkah by sharing that light with others through service?

Kindle in the Kitchen is a service event for Jewish Young Adults ages 21–39. We'll gather at Our Big Kitchen to prepare meals for Angelenos facing food insecurity. We’ll start with sushi, wine, and new friends, then gather to light the menorah together. Just like the shamash, the helper candle whose job is to light all the others, we’ll reflect on the light in our lives and how we pass it on. Then we’ll roll up our sleeves to prepare meals for our neighbors in need.

Kindle in the Kitchen is a service event where we'll gather at Our Big Kitchen (West LA address provided to confirmed guests) to prepare meals for Angelenos facing food insecurity. This lands on the fourth night of Hanukkah, the halfway point of the festival, when the menorah is half lit and half waiting. It’s the perfect moment to notice both the light and the dark around us. Many of us have been given so much light this year, and many of our neighbors are facing some darkness this season. The beautiful thing about light? Sharing it doesn’t make yours any dimmer.
